The Day starts at 9am and depending on the amount of cars, we usually finish about 2/3pm with a pub visit afterwards. And I believe there might be a night out in Wolverhampton being planned. :bad:

We should have a BBQ set up with burgers & Bacon cups of tea/coffee so you all wont go hungry.

  • It's alive! This gearbox has got oil in and everything :) About the running order. Can I go about an hour before the end? Reckon that'll be about right for the RAC getting there.

  • The only time you stall a car at traffic lights, is either when you're learning to drive, or your starter motor doesn't work.

Purely for the comedic effect

Now I'm in a predicament!

I can't guarantee my car will be on the road for the 1st of Feb, obviously I will be aiming for it to be done by then, but don't want to add my name to the list only to let you guys down later on down the line.

Will there be a chance to go on the rollers without the name on the list?

If I was to put my name down now and if I have to pull out I could give 1 or 2 weeks notice to give you a chance to notify a reserve?

Also the car isn't even a polo, but a Mk1 Golf running a 2.0 8v with headwork, cam ect.. Should be interesting though!

Let me know what you guys think

Cheers Max

Yeah thats fine. we normally have a few non-polo's running. :)

There is a chance yes.. :)

If I'm not at work then I might pitch up in ol' smokey

Right okay bud, I won't take up a space on the list now then, If I get there in it and can't run then nehmind, if I can run then that will be even better :D

Cheers Max

No need to quote the whole post again. =0D

Got no need to though mark, its only going to go down and upset me lol

Basically, we all turn up, feast on sandwiches, overdose on caffine and put our polos or whatever cars we come in on the rolling road. Then some of us (not jon cus hes a sourpuss) go out in wolverhampton, get wasted and dance like uve a broken machine gun in your hands.

Sorry for the re-post but do they do just one run and that's your print out?

Just a place local to me does 3 power runs and then gives you your printout, although they don't print your torque on there :/

  • Author

Yeah they basically do the same and you get a print out. But they do spend some time trying to get the best from the car and if that involves doing a couple more then that's what they do! :)

That's great, cheers Mark! Is it just meeting there or meeting somewhere else then cruising down

sounds awesome haha , yhhh I'm up for that , would come out in wolverhampton but i live in mk soo going out in wolverhampton is unlikely
