      It's alive! This gearbox has got oil in and everything :) About the running order. Can I go about an hour before the end? Reckon that'll be about right for the RAC getting there.

      The only time you stall a car at traffic lights, is either when you're learning to drive, or your starter motor doesn't work.

    Was a really good day, loads of familiar faces and some sweet polo's.

    I was well happy when I finally twigged on the butty lady, wondered where everyone was pulling out scran from whilst waiting for the sandwich lady in the van!

    Jezza got the highest, 168 and 171 on his runs iirc, Nick wasn't far off - we noticed his BRV wasn't closing properly = free booooooooooost!

    Dom also got around 168 in his 16v mk2 coupe, hybrid lump with my old r1 throttle bodies. Literally sounded amazing, sent shudders down me spine.

    Properly given me the buzz to get back in an olop now!

    But I'm happy you liked the noise haha.

    I only got half that on my first run. I must have quite a talent to get a paltry 88 bhp from a carbed valver.

    With the G we actually fixed more than one thing! Shocking.

    We came back after a drive and max goes "oh my god! We actually fixed something with injection! Why did we do that for!"

    Pleased with that.

    Shame I had to clear off early, missed out catching up with some of the regulars...

    just noticed dom also has a racekor yellow engine block. BOOOOO :lol:
