Hi everyone, I'm from Glasgow and recently bought my self a polo mk2f. Used to have a honda civic ek coupe (I'm not a honda guy though just bought it for me passing my test a year ago because it only cost me £450) i unfortunately had a bump into the back of someone and cant afford to fix my car. so i am selling everything off it and buying bits for my polo instead, which tbh should get me quite a bit to start with as honda bits arent cheap!! most of my friends are into vw's and especially older polos so i have a bit of an idea as to what i want to do.

Few pictures of it before i start messing about, it has only done 42,000 miles. The whole car except the front wings is perfect, rusty rocker cover and airfilter cover but nothing a can of paint cant fix

Loos a nice stock coupe - keep the mud flaps on it.

VW bits aren't cheap as well. Everything is 'rare' and has 300% scene tax

Hope you plan on declaring your mods if you're going to be crashing into people. Looks like a nice base.

Just w few quick things i did on mine was change the steering wheel over and change the analouge clock to a digital one which in turn gives you a rev counter. Its an easy fit and its already got the wiring in place.

Cheers guys. Going more towards handling as its the bit i miss about my civic. wider wheels, coilovers, bushes, steering wheel, g40 lights, clear indicators, i want corrado seats and to get them re upholstered along with buying spare rear seats door cards etc get them all done the same way so i can keep the original interior. and so far vw parts are much cheaper! my s2000 seats cost me 450 for my civic I'm not really seeing and seats for more than 200 pounds for the polo. Also coilovers are half the price too. The mud flaps are off I'm afraid, they will only be scraping on the ground soon anyway lol
