Seat Leon 1.8T 20VT - Cheap

I had this up for sale a few weeks ago on behalf of my work mate. The pedal box on my Lupo went so he was kind enough to hold fire on selling it and let me use it until the Lupo was back up and running.

He has had the car for over 5 years and has decided to upgrade to a BMW 3 Series so now just wants rid. Completely standard as he isn’t a massive fan of modifying cars.

MOT until October 2014 with N/S Inner CV Boot being an advisory. This will need sorting now.

Tax until May 2014

This benefits from being in the cheaper Tax bracket, as of 2001 they went up due to the CO2 legislation.

Boosts really well and is a comfortable drive.

Has the later Cupra Starfish alloys with decent tyres.

It’s in a decent condition, couple of marks and a dent in the boot but it does scrub up well. 1 thing to note is that the wing is slightly discoloured. Not sure if this is faded or been repainted at some stage.

The car had a couple of issues when I first got it which needed sorting and have now been done. First of all a stalling issue when the clutch was engaged coming up to roundabouts. After a Throttle body clean and new gasket and Vagcom Throttle body re-alignment this was rectified.

Also some pikey had tried ripping out the drivers lock to get in the vehicle. In doing so not only did they mess up the lock but the window regulator was completely screwed up in the process. This needed urgent repair so a blanking plate was purchased from VW and installed. A window regulator was fitted and it now works spot on.

Temp gauge doesn’t work but it’s quite common for the Green sender to fail.

Looking for £650 for this with no offers. I think most of you will agree this is cheap, even if it is to be used just for the lump.
