Look who's back in a Polo...

Last month I bought this 6n2 GTI as a runaround, here she is:

It's got all the usual GTI bits, plus heated leathers 8)

Only "mod" so far is this chrome headlight switch:

Anyway, it's just a daily while I focus on the Roobaroo, so I don't expect to mod it too much!

Except for this, which turned up this week...

Ooooh that looks nice :) Love those leather seats, I want some in my Polo.

Is the Audi wheel a straight fit on?

Thanks mate, I pretty much went for this one just for the interior!

The Audi wheel will fit physically, but the airbag wiring is going to be interesting since this is a dual igniter airbag. I'm planning on doing something clever with the DSG paddles too, perhaps audio control. Can't wait to get it on though, its such a nice wheel!

One of the last 6n2 Gtis. Nice car.

Thanks bud! It's not the tidiest but I'll spruce her up as best as I can.

So today I tackled a few car jobs, including vinyl wrapping the B pillars black (gives it a more sleek look imo)

And fitted the S3 steering wheel and got it all wired up and working:

I also wrapped the roof rails - fiddly buggers to do, the rest of the roof should get wrapped this weekend if the weather is on my side.

Nice
