So there is this mk2f (I think) polo, sitting like 5 miles from me. I've been looking for a mk3 for a while but they are never in Scotland or within distance for me. This has MOT till August, tax till feb, 90k, 1991, 1,3, it could be my first car!

Also, how much am I looking at to lower one of these? Coil overs seem to be incredibly expensive like £450, is it worth just going for springs?

All I'd want to do is lower it with some new wheels. And get some GT/G40 black wheel arch trim.

They are perfect for a first car I think. It's whether you will enjoy driving it though.

Where abouts in Scotland is it? As if you don't buy it then I want it haha.

I had a budget shocks and spring kit on my breadvan, it cost me about £100 in total, the ride was pretty terrible, but looked good.. Is till have the springs if needed, although you will need to fit them with uprated shocks as they are pretty low

A mk2f (mk3 on here) 1.3 cl coupe was my first car never looked back since had 4. Including a gt and now a g40.
