6n heater control panel lighting

Featured Replies

Hi guys, since I've had my 6n the heater control selections have never been illuminated?

Are the led's built into the main unit or is there a part i am missing?

I know my heater control panel cover has been previously removed to be carbon wrapped so whether something has not been put back in place i am unsure?

Any help with this would be appreciated, many thanks, Ollie

They use T5 bulbs, behind the heater controls themselves, you can remove the controls and replace it (which is likely the issue, pretty sure there's only one)

There's only one plug going into the back of the dial unit from what I can remember so if that were faulty I'd imagine the controls wouldn't work at all.

Whip em out and have a goose :)

Cool thanks for that

Will whip it out and take a look, i wasnt sure if its missing some sort of 'led strip' that sits behind the front cover as i know its been fettled with in the past so it might have not been put back in for example

But now knowing that il whip it out and take a look cheers, Ollie
