Hi. I'm John and I have a polo. Had my mk2 bready for about two and a half years. Had no interest at all in how cars worked until i got her. Still got a lot to learn about but i'm looking to get stuck in. I don't get much time to tinker at the moment as i have a 16 month old son and if i don't have him, i'm at work which is nothing to do with cars.

Will be moving soon and i'm looking for a house with a garage so i can maybe tinker in there.

At this point, i'm not interested in an engine conversion but i haven't ruled it out somewhere down the line. She goes as fast as i need to go, i'm just looking to get her running as smooth and as reliable as possible. Also want to make it as comfy as i can to ride in. Already got seats from a mk3 in place as the originals looked like they'd been fingered by wolverine. There's a long list of things i've done and had done to her already but i'll post that later.

Welcome along :-)

Welcome

Suuup!

Welcome.. as soon as you start to tinker.. it never stops, its basically what happened with me. Always interested in cars but it wasn't until I got my Polo I started messing with them. And I learnt pretty much everything as I went along. That was back in 2006 :shok: since then I've done 2 and a half engine conversions and a ground up rebuild!
