Need to put a new engine and box in my 91 CL 1.3 coupe as it's fucked! So want a bit more power.

Can't afford any thing mega like a G and would like a 1.4 16v but don't want to start splicing the loom.

I guess a GT is the easiest thing too put in with a bit more power? Just engine and Ecu to change, right?

Or 1.6 8v out of a 6n maybe? What's involved in this conversion?

Any help or suggestions much appreciated.
