Mikeys Troubles

.

But yeah, it's limping. A bit like this new forum, which is still shyte to use despite me using a HTC One on the latest 4.2.2 software. And back to the top of the page. And scroll back down again. Five times writing this message now.

Make that six. Don't mind me, I've just got the hump my car keeps breaking..

Are you on the mobile skin or the full version? I keep trying but I can't reproduce the fault?

This is a lengthy test post about nothing in particular.I'm trying to find what's wrong with the forum on mike's phone by trying to get mine to do the same thing. I've tried the mobile site the main site and it all seems fine.

I'll write a couple more paragraphs to see if that does it, but is not looking that way. I can't seem to make the fault happen.

Test phone is an Xperia z on Android 4.3 because they haven't released 4.4 for it yet.

Can't make the page jump whatever I do?

And why can't I edit quotes anymore? Used to be able to snip out a specific paragraph, now I have to show the whole post.

It's jumped four times writing that. The first two I could still see what I was writing, but the second two I had to scroll back down. The page. Outside the box is too big for the screen. Twhat shouldn't have been a new sentence but it wouldn't let me use a space there, and I did try to write That instead of Twhat but random errors are making a mess of things.

This phone is absolutely fine on various other forums. It just doesn't like this one.

Weird, mine seems to work okay, the only irritating thing on the full version on my phone is the pop up boxes end up out of view unless you're zoomed out,

Have never had the issue Mikey speaks of, unless your phone isn't fully loading the page? Logos etc, so it's constantly changing length as you're trying to write?

When I browse using dolphin on ios7 I can't click in the reply boxes to type anything, meaning I have to switch to safari to view the thread and reply to it. Right PITA

That's your problem right there. Stick to safari. Read all the issue people have with dolp and how it is actually a lower browser to use.

For Mikeys issue, I haven't a clue, they have been on going and it seems to be only him. Unless some other can say they are using the same phone/software etc.

I personaly have the Sony Xperia Z with latest update and have no issues, I also have the iPad 2 and iPad Mini retina and the iPhone 5 and run in to no issue.

As said above, they only reason the webpage would move is if the page is still actually loading in the background.

Other then that I'm stumped.

It loads the page okay, load bar reaches the end and disappears in good time, then the page looks complete. I'll be halfway through the message before it starts jumping about and putting me to the top of the page. Then the text starts going wrong, and even once i've turned predictive off, it can be difficult to correct.

No problems writing this, though. It's been fairly consistent, the problems have been, but it's not every post.

I have had the same issue as mikey i believe... you click on the reply box and it jumps all over The place, then you either cant see what you are typing or you try getting it in the centre of the screen and it just junps back again

What browser/phone/ version of the forum are you using?

Yep, I checked this on my phone yesterday and did the same bouncing up and down thing. I have a crappy HTC Phone running some kind of android software, sorry that's all I know really.

Edit: Used it today with no problems.
