a few issues with it. the main one is that the throttle body seems to be pretty fecked so looking for a new one.

theres a couple of bits and bobs that aren't too great but hey its much better than the 6n i had before.

transfer the coilovers, steering wheel and poo over just to start and then buy some nice wheels!

so this is going in the bin! itt is broken, bearings are rattly and senor fault code coming up. new one on the way!

so today we got the central locking sorted, window reg replaced and wing mirrors are now able adjust properly.

tomorrow the coilies go on and she needs a big fat clean!

need to do the cam belt as we have no history and might do a service too.

New Throttle body is on and sealed up properly after it starting hunting when we first installed it.

Cambelt, ancillary belt, all the tensioners and all that jazz. new water pump and a service. Got her running sweet!

A small HID kit too as the lights were utter pooE! i do like to be able to see to road i am driving on.

Photos to come soon as its now on coilies and looking alot nicer.

so i havn't been on the forum for a while but have been slowly checking back on it now and again over the last couple of days.

so heres a photo of the car as it stands atm. (photos pulled from my instagram account)

after we sorted out the running of the car from my last post just set about cleaning and getting the car to sit properly.

had a slight tyre rub going on in the back when carrying people so when it came to replace tyres the other week for the winter i went for a subtle bit of stretch to sort that out.

should really find a set of winter wheels so i can refurb the cades eros i grabbed for only £150 with tyres and few months ago.

drivers side window regulator went so need to do that but no rush now its horrible cold weather! also need to get working on the engine bay, do a rocker cover gasket and give it a good clean.

Idles lumpy too but i have read many times that it is a common thing with these. will probably replace the temp sensor, get a better air flow going and i recon i may take the intake off and give that a good burning. just try and get everything cleaned out basically.

Anyone recommend some engine upgrades/mods to get it running rreallll nicceee?

Thanks for looking.

Nice base mate looks nice and clean, don't see many black 16v's about anymore. Keep it up.

Guessing a nice service should get it running all sweet!
