So after reading the thread about 'how old is too old to modify' it got me wondering what everyone's past car history is. So if anyone fancies playing along please do :) (1 pic of each car please!)

6n2 Polo GTI - At 22 - My first real car love (so I'm starting here)

SEAT Ibiza Cupra K04 (270~hp) - At 24

SEAT Ibiza Cupra IHI (330hp) - At 25

Got caught by the popo being a bit naughty so decided to get something less stealthy

BMW M Roadster S50 - At 26

BMW M Roadster S54 - At 27

Porsche 911 Turbo 996 X50 & VW Polo TDI - 28 Till current

Wow that's some serious cars

My car history is filled with sheds!

VW Polo Mk2F 1.3 Genesis Bready (this saw the scrapyard)

Honda Civic EG Bali 1.3 (scrapyard again)

Then I passed my test!

Peugeot 106 1.1 Quiksilver - Gifted to me by my grandma, it was mint and I drove it into a wall ... doh

Renault Clio Mk2 1.2 5Dr - boot was rusted and leaking, brakes ended up failing just as I came to the end of the M65, luckily managed to stop and then next day scrapped it

Renault Clio Mk2 Grande 1.2 - needed work here and there but had to sell to get a 5dr

Current - Polo 6n 1.4 8v - W.I.P.

My first car my auntie gave me at 17

1.2 8v Corsa B

I then bought a 6n at 21 1.4 8v (worst regret of my life as it fell apart constantly)

And my current car which is by far the best which I got at 22

6n2 1.4TDI

The amount of cars i've owned is in three figures, probably best I don't put them up..

1979 Mini 850 super which we put a 998 in -- 12 -15 my first car and first love!

1972 Beetle, sold the Mini to buy a Beetle as a project, was just an empty shell when I bought it--- 15-18

1994 Polo, bought as I knew my Bug wouldn't be finished in time for me turning 17 --- 16-19

1970 Beetle, to use for parts, --- 17

2000 Polo, bought it on a whim, decided I preferred my Mk2f so sold it on -- 17

1990 Jetta --18 - present

And my latest buy

1983 Mk1 Golf ---- 19 - present

Not too shabby for me being only 19 I don't think.

Looking forward to seeing more peoples history :)

Iv had...

A stander 1l nissa micra in white for my first car..

2nd was a 1l micra in red, dropped 60mil with 1.3 engine parts for that extra power and was sprayed by some grifti artist

3rd a mrk6 1.8 gti escort dropped 60mil with big break upgrade.

4th was a mrk5 rs2000 cossie replica escort (with the waletail) dropped 60mil, stripped of every bit of weight like rear seats and carpet... big break upgrade... engine was upgraded to a gallaxy 2.3 bottom crammed with the rs2000 head running rs2000 management with a stright through pipe... sat at 82db... was a run drive...

And now I'm in a 1.6 6n2 polo GTI, no mods as of yet, but gonna drop her get some refurbished bbs's and prob stickerbomb the trim as some of it needs replacing... maybe gonna drop a new lump in her at end of year aswell

My mk1 I got at 16 and still have

Breadvan I got at 18 but sold last year

Polo GT, bought this last year, my daily driver at the moment

And finally my 340 which I bought a couple of months ago

So only had 4 cars and still have 3 of them :)
