I've searched and searched but cant find what i wanna see

has anyone got any pics of a mk2f/mk3 running specifically 13x6 et38 with 175/50 on the front? i wanna see how close to the arches they get

if not is anyone running 13x5.5 et38 with 175/50 or close to that? need to see a pic from the front or up close to the arch

seeing if i need to get my arches flared

you won't need to. if you can get those tyres anywhere near the arches I will be impressed. You need to be mighty low to get 13s with low pro tyres even close. I ran 13x5.5s fitted with 175/50s on my polo gt breadie without issue. granted it was only lowered 44mm on the front and 20mm on the rear, even so there was pleanty of room to have gone lower.

you still won't scrub. if you wanted to play super safe, you could always fit 165/55 r13s, they give roughly the same tyre wall height as 175/50s. you driveshafts will rub the chassis legs before the tyres will rub anything

They're standard factory size wheels, they're specified to clear the arches with the factory 165x65 tyres.

Tyre sizes vary though, eastern tyres tend to be wider than European tyres. Nankang's 165x55s are massive compared to Pirelli's version.

I run 185x60s, and this size are balloons anyway, but my current Nankangs are like tractor tyres compared to the Falkens i had on before.

I do have geometry correction suspension mounts, that helps. But if you want tiny tyres then get Pirelli 165x55s, if you must get 175x50s don't get Nankang ones. Or just look at some.
