Silver 6n P.O.S

Featured Replies

So I've had my car for the last 5 years. It's a daily and its almost worthless now haha.

So back in 2009 I purchased a relatively clean 98 5dr 6n Polo 1.4 8v on about 60k

It's probably better looking here then it is now haha.

Over the years i've done a relatively amount to it.

I ran it like this for a while until i lowered it; painted the wheels, debadged and got rid of the bump strips.

I ran a few different wheels over the year and a few different looks;

Castelettes were first; fly eye tinted lights, along with a comic book bonnet..

i then ran some revo's for a while

and then some borbet t's

Since then/along the way I've done the following;

-removed fly eye

-gone back to amber indicators

-standard grille

-cut bump stops

-removed helper springs

-16v front bumper (paints fucked)

-16v interior

-stainless cat back exhaust

-destickered mostly

-bbs rz's

-new clutch

-several services

-another 50k miles

and here it is today

bonnet bra comes and goes; paint is fucked.

Stickers are there to cover up paint loss

It spends most days like this (in need of a clean):

Pretty nice! I think you should have stayed with the revo's tho lol

The revos were nice but 14x6 and couldn't get it sitting right. Plus always got real bad wheel wobble due to a massive center bore.

IMO 6n polos should be on 15s

another silver 6n, looking good mate :)

Awesome:)

I think it looks tidy, 6ns are great value cars and the fact that you have had it for so long says something.
