Hi all! Here's the start of my Polo build thread after owning a Lupo for the last 3 years.

I found it on Auto Trader from a company local to me so I arranged viewing for the next day and put the deposit down same day.

Its a 1.4 8V Match, 52,000miles with 8 VW/VW Specialist service stamps in the book with only 1 previous lady owner from new.

I got 3 months parts and labour warranty with it from the company so I gave it a good check over and noticed the pedal box welds had snapped (Had the same problem on my Lupo) and the central locking wasn't working so I conviced them to take it to VW which they did and had the pedal box replaced and the central locking repaired (Still plays up but the barrels are stiff so I think the paddles need replacing)

Now the pedal box is done I'll be replacing the clutch and cable for peace of mind.

Anyways enough talking, here are the photo's :)

...and the work began straight away with replacing the rear light which had a crack in it with a new one

Also it is booked in tomorrow for a full Swissvax paint correction detail as the paint is covered in swirl marks and light scratches so it should be looking flawless afterwards so watch out for the photo's.

My plans for this one is to keep it as OEM and clean as possible with subtle mods.

Thats it for now! Thanks for looking, Tom.
