Hi all

Me and a friend are planning to upgrade his 04 plate polo and are looking to put a bigger engine in it.

Would the engine from a mk 4 golf gti 20 v turbo be able to go in it without too many mods?

We would love to get 200-250 bhp with an engine remap.

Also would I need the ecu from the mk4 golf and what engine code?

There are a few mk4 gti turbos I can get my hands on but I want to make sure I buy the correct one
