After much soul searching I've decided to sell my beloved 1987 1.3 Coupe S.

Please take time to look at my profile gallery where you will find pictures of various stages of restoration. The car has been stripped back to a shell, repainted in the original colour and rebuilt. now on lowering springs with alloys as shown and Jetex stainless steel exhaust (up to date pictures to follow).

Lovingly restored this beauty has been back up and running brilliantly for the past two years but I've only really had chance to enjoy it for a few months in the past couple of summers. Engine is completely standard with genuine low mileage as photos. I will get the exact mileage very soon.

The only reason for sale is that I've decided to reduce my car 'collection' and faced up to the reality that I'm not getting the opportunity to use the car enough. She is spending over half the year garaged and that seems a real shame. Cars are meant to be driven not just looked at. Much as I'll be sad to see her go I'd like to know someone was getting full enjoyment from a car that is brilliant fun.

These pictures were taken last march 2013 for insurance valuation. The only changes since then are a Jetex exhaust and a couple thousand extra miles on the clock. I will post current photos as soon as possible but you get the idea.

I will be putting 6 months tax and renew the MOT on the car in March or upon sale, which ever comes first.

Solid and rust free. fully undersealed. absolutely no welding or structural work was needed. Interior seats re-bolstered and re-trimmed in leather. Brembo front brake discs. Chrome trim detail. New master brake cylinder. Pirelli P slots refurbed and recoated as photos. Plenty of paperwork for the period I've owned it. This really is an excellent example. I've looked at many others of the same age and nothing comes close.

I also have loads of spares as my brother and i used 2 cars to build this one. Spares include front seats loads of interior bits and an engine.

Should just clarify. Current MOT expires 9/4/14. I would normally put 6 months rent and a new MOT every April then run her around for the summer months before being garaged again for the winter. If she sells before the current MOT expires I will get a fresh MOT and tax at the point of sale. Otherwise I will MOT and tax the car as I normally would in March/April. Thanks for looking.

A real labour of love. I'm only selling because I've had to buy a dull old A4 as my sensible 'old man' car and I can't justify having too many 'toy' cars. Sadly it's just not practical to keep it anymore. She needs a good home with someone who appreciates what they're getting and will look after her, hence why I'm being very picky about my target audience for the sale.
