should have got one long time ago!

i dont tend to drive my polo over the winter period esp on days of rain, ice and snow - last time i drove the car was new years eve!

want to invest in a car cover to protect the car and stop water building up in foot wells...

been looking at the stormforce ones from here:

whats your opinion?

I personally dont use a cover, but the reason you want one shouldn't be to stop water getting into the footwells!!

i got mine from motorworld, its a good thick material, it is breathable so will some water does go through but not masses

yeah id put the money into fixing the water leaks properly

I've seen lots of cars with blistered paintwork from covers in the damp , would be okay for like a couple of days before a car show to keep it mint , but i dont like them for long term winter storage here in the uk

Its 127 pound for the all singing and dancing one at that price as said above I would get your leaks sorted

iv tried so many times to sort the leaks out but nothing seems to cure it.

i fixed the ones in the boot and front foot wells but the rear foot wells are a mystery!!!

like car cover my bonnet bra had same issues - had it on and after a year or so all the paint work under the bra bubbled up and started to peel off!!

condensation build caused the bonnet to rot.

You will have light scratches all over the paintwork.

My dad had a car bubble but his was inside the garage.

Fix the leaks, then invest in a quality clean (clay bar etc) then get the best wax you can afford, that'll protect the paint far better than a cover!

Just my humble opinion like.
