Hi guys, I have found a beautiful set of BBS RX2's fully re-conditioned with almost new tyres, the only catch is that they are a bit on the wide side.

Will 16" BBS RX2's (5x100) with 215/40/16's fit on a 2002 Polo 9N 1.2 with coilovers (drop of 30 - 50MM) without scrubbing/rubbing/catching lock to lock and so on?

Yeah they will. 215's are slightly wide and will have a fairly big profile, so next time you get tyres maybe consider getting something like a 195 40 16 or maybe even a 165 40 16 to allow you to go lower without worrying about rubbing

Yeah they are quite wide. The rims are 6.5J as well so they're about the widest you can/should have. It is what they come with so I'll keep them on for the time being. If nothing else it reduces the risk of kerbing them.
