Looking to upgrade my head unit in my 9n3 but I have the knowledge and skill of a potato when it comes to ICE so I have come here for your advice and guidance.

I'm looking for a double DIN unit with a touchscreen and bluetooth, iPhone 5 input would be a bonus but not essential. My budget is no more than £200.

Don't really know where to look other than Car Audio Security and came across this unit. Never heard of 'Boss Audio Systems', are they any good? Is there another one you would recommend?

After the whole choosing and purchasing debacle comes the fitting. I'm guessing it's not going to be a straight swap, that would be too easy. Do I have to purchase fascia adapters, cables, other things to get it fitted? Once I have got everything is it simple enough to fit (can a newbie like me do it)? Any tutorials/guides for the fitting?

Never heard of Boss, I'd probably only ever go Alpine, or Kenwood/Pioneer if I had to.

Boss have been around a long time, but are normally cheap rubbish

Jvc mainly focus on the lower priced side of the market, where kenwood have a good reputation.
I would say go for the kenwood onem plus it has more upgradable capability

Is it pretty straight forward to fit myself? I assuming I would need some sort of adapters and other bits and bobs? (Sorry I literally no nothing about this)

I've got a 9n with a pioneer AVH-X7500BT, sadly for it to display my iPhone 5 display I had to spend about £95 on pioneer cables for the damn thing to work... I got Bluetooth as standard though my headunit, but if you want a display of whats on your iPhone its not cheap :/ Pioneer do sell a cheaper double din for £199 I believe but of course you get no cables.

But the only tools/accessories you'll need to buy is the release keys for your current headunit.
