1989 VW Scirocco GT

I've owned the car since September 2013. Selling as I want a E36.

MOT until August 2014

Tax until February 2014

(will confirm both dates)

Fitted with a 1.8 carbed 8v engine, no leaks or strange noises, 122000 miles roughly, speedo doesn't work so milage isn't changing. Some service history, many receipts for work carried out over the years.

In very good condition for age, few small stone chips and parking dints, but to be expected of a 25 year old car. All paint original, all trim complete and in good condition. Very reliable now, having spent a lot of time and money on getting it running right. All the usual weak points for these cars are good, fuel filler and tank are really clean, clutch cable plate has been replaced.

Parts fitted before my ownership:

• Jom coilovers
• TSR manifold with unknown exhaust system

• 15x7 OZ saturn wheels

• uprated drilled front brake discs

Many new parts fitted in my ownership:

• brand new weber carburettor with manual choke

• gear linkage repair kit

• Bosch silver battery

• Servicing parts

• clutch cable

Few small issues:

• speedo not working, think it needs a new cable but not sure

• alignment needs doing, doesn't pull to one side but the steerings not central on rack

• one tail lamp is cracked, doesn't affect performance just looks untidy

• plastic trims for inside the door shuts (bits that cover the edge of the carpet and door rubber) need new clips
