jetta mk2 coupe manufactured on 26/09/1984 http://www.ebay.co.u...984.m1555.l2649

i purchased this vehicle from birmingham in october hoping to get round to registering it but at the minute my job has gotten extremly busy and i have not had chance and this will be up to the new owner to sort as i have not looked into it . the car drove from birmingham to leeds and didnt use a drop of oil or water which i was suprised at with it being a 16v but i have all the service history for the engine as it was removed from a mk2 golf a few years ago. the car has mot until august obviously this can be done from the vin number and i have a vw heritage letter to verify the chassis number to the vehicle and when it was maufactured i also have the logbook and service history for the golf the engine came from.

the bodywork is in general good condition but has been sprayed the blue colour it is at the minute at some point and if i was gonna show it i would have certain parts blown over but there are no rust issues and the car is straight just slight marks on the plastic on the big bumpers and the car is solid just your usual rusty stains under bonnet etc. the car is currently in dry storage and has been there since october. the car has also had 90s spec wings and big bumpers fitted at somepoint . the car has also been converted to rhd so it is uk friendly as the coupe were only made in lhd the car also has a full leather interior and the seats are rather comfy there a few trim bits missing here and there but nothing major. the car also has electric windows which is pretty rare on these cars.

the engine is from a mk2 golf and is a 1.8 16v engnie with a ported and polished head and 4 branch stainless manifold and also has a stainless backbox which has a nice tone not too loud .I'm sure you will understand how expensive these parts are and I'm told was rebuilt and serviced just before i bought the car and the oil is clean so no reason to think otherwise . the engine pulls well and didnt miss a beat on the 180 mile trip on the way home and used no oil or water and were no overheating or temperature issues and there was a major traffic jam on way back so I'm sure a problem would of occured if there was one and the fan kicks in and out as it should. the only noise i noticed is the exhaust is knocking somewere but nothing that a bit of manouvering shouldnt sort . the car is also hard to get in 2nd and 4th but there is nothing wrong with the gearbox just the lever has been removed and not clamped on the linkage in the right position as once the gears are engaged there are no noises or problems also all 4 tyres are legal and has these bbs type wheels on the car not sure if there genuine but still suit the car well.

as you know these cars are extremely rare as there are no others on ebay at the minute and the last one pulled 3000 pound and was not show standard. these cars pull redicoulous money once show standard as this car wouldnt take much work to get there I'm going to list the car at what it owes me as i dont want the car going to waste and would love to see the finished article. I'm pretty gutted to sell the car but i do not have the time or money to sort it at the minute

message me or ring 07975964066 for more info

car is located in morley , leeds ,yorkshire
