I've had my polo mk3 *breadvan* a year now and shes standard but i want to have her lowered but dont know what springs i need can any of you guys help me out it would be mint thanks!!

That's a bit like saying you want to wear some jeans, and what jeans do you need..?

The main compromise is between ride height and comfort. Especially with off the shelf kits. Up to 45mm maximum and standard length dampers of a higher quality ensure no compromise in ride. Shortened dampers are almost invariably bad news unless you spend proper money.

But handling is another matter and i've had to work hard to get mine to be comfortable and yet handle.
