VW MK4 Golf GTi Diesel (import) 150bhp

Featured Replies

Hi, I have a 2002 (02 plate) mk4 Golf GTi door diesel (RHD import) in Silver on 135,000 miles - number plate OY02XRD.

It has the 150bhp ARL engine and is listed as a GTI on the V5 document.

It has the full GTi trim including heated cloth seats, electric door mirrors and headlight washers, chunky steering wheel, 3 rear head rests, electric windows front and rear, alloy wheels and headlamp protectors, auto dimming rear view mirror.

The car has a lot of good bits, but it also has bad bits. It some dinks, scratches, one of the door mirrors has a broken glass, one of the rear doors is permanently locked, the air con makes a noise an annoying noise on one particular setting, it has high mileage and I've had to replace a lot of parts.

Recently changed parts include brake pads and discs, drive shaft, top mounts, a lot of bushings front and rear, Pirelli tyres all round, various filters and other general service items, it has had the camshaft replaced within the last 4 years also.

I really don't have any idea how much it is worth but a quick look on autotrader in the area see's the 150's going for anything from £1,675 to £3,500.

Given it's condition which I would consider to be below average, I am advertising this car for £1,000 but am open to offers if you consider this excessive.

You can reach me by text message on 07971 374319, or PM me here.

Test drives welcomed.
