Hi guys n girls so my insurance is up for renewal, me and my sister are on the insurance. My sister had a accident about 3 weeks ago, basically what happened is the car infront of me hit the car infront of him and my sister did hit the car infront of her but at such a speed that there was no damage to the front of our car or to the rear of the jag infront of us. i have sent in images which support my claim. the b@s@@Rd in front of us claims that we hit him first and caused him to collide with the car infront of him which is absolute bull and my images support what i say.

My question is how do i go about renewing my insurance, my sister has 3 years no claims which would have been 4 if this accident had not occured.

after the insurers investigate the claim and see theres no damage to either car will my no claims bonus still stand?

Also on the go compare website we have the option of stating the 3 years no claims we've accrued before and state the pending claim, however if the claims is settled a month down the line and god forbid i do lose my no claims what happens to the insurance policy i have already taken out?

They'll probably quote as if you had lost the bonus and then give you a refund if the bonus is re-instated once liability is proved. Unfortunately, there's an assumption that if you hit the car in front, you must have been driving too close and therefore you're at fault for your part of the accident.

Yeah absolutely if i smashed into the rear of him and smashes his bumper etc. id accept liability.

My arguement is there is no damage to the rear of his car and his false allegations.

He claims i pushed him into the rear of the car infront, my images clearly show this isnt true.

Once my insurers see the other party has made false allegations the claim should be dropped right?
