I have here a 1.6 bottom end for use with the AFH head.

This is what you need for the 1.6 AFH which all bolts together with no compatibility problems.

All AFH parts bolt straight on, standard head bolts, standard relay pulley bolts, its all straight fit.

This is a late version with the direct drive oil pump.

I built this for myself but its surplus for now. Its basically my spare. Both the donor engines used to build this were in very good running order. This should run sweet precisely as it is, that's how I would run it, obviously a rebuild with all new wear parts would be a desirable option which I can do at extra cost if you wish.

These do not grow on trees. Offers over 100 quid please.

Its a 6n 1.4 cast iron block, identical to AFH, I don't yet know the engine code as I can't find my stone to bring it out. But it was an 8v lump with the crank dated 23/08/99. So its whatever they are.

Was removed from the donor car quite recently, been indoors ever since, so all the important bits have no surface rust.

The M10 thread for the AFH pulley is still perfect.

This is a straight swap part for an existing AFH, someone else saw 138bhp, another 142. But its the torque that impresses the most.

This one has the high compression pistons, good for efi or carbs.

If you'd rather retain your own cylinder block I can sell just the internals. But being GTI crank and rods I'm still looking for a ton.

I should say this is now provisionally sold with a que of four people. The first is expected to take it.
