Hi there, recently bough a little project (to say the least!) and thought I better join!

I bought a 1989 mk2 polo van, the previous owner striped the whole thing out with the vision of putting a 1.6 mk3 polo engine, suspension set up and dash. He have me all this plus the old 1litre which was gubbed. At this moment I'm sanding it down and doing a bit of welding in prep for paint work but after that I'm not sure where to go so...

1. Does the engine fit?

2. Does the rear axle fit?

3. Does the front suspension (full set up) fit?

4. Does the dash fit?

5. Or am I in for a nightmare?

Ohh and my daily is a bmw 1 series f20 sport.

And I don't know how to post pics from my phone.

Forgot too add that it's got the mk3 wiring loom and ecu
