Help for 6N newbie please

Featured Replies

just got my first polo...but bashed the front end...now I need a bonnet, BUT....what is it? Circular dials, number plate on rear bumper, 51 plate indicates 6N2. However I have the original paperwork from VW factory and it states 6N. The ID number is WVWZZZ6nZ1......so it looks like a 6N, this paperwork is dated Oct 2000. I also have the variant and version number....any helpn appreciated. thanks

Is it a saloon or estate? IIRC they kept the same "look" and maybe same chassis number but did get an updated interior

Edit: Disregard that statement - number plate on rear bumper

6n Polo was ended Oct 1999 so yours is definitely a 6n2 unless it was kept by a dealer and not registered until then which I highly doubt.
