Dave's £200 1.3 Coupe!

Featured Replies

Picked up a MK3 Coupe 1.3 NZ last week for a bargain of £200! Came with 1 month MOT and 2 Months Tax and I can't get over how clean it is :| Really wasn't looking for another car, was just bored one night browsing swdubs and came across this! A week later was mine :)

Some pictures from the advert:

Matey even dropped it out to me. Sorry for the terrible pictures:

It's pretty mint underneath. No rust. Has had a new rear exhaust section, new fuel tank, recent handbrake cables and brake hoses. New thermostat (albeit a cheapo one). Currently on 104k and i'm the 4th owner :)

Swapped the wheels over to my 16v alloys I had lying around, feels much more stable now on the road!

Taking a trip to see Spuey this month, having the spare 6n coilovers I have lying around modified to fit the coupe! Feels so weird being at normal height again

Changed the discs and pads yesterday, the old ones werent horrendous, but still worth changing.

Plans are to fully service it. Change all the belts, give it a good clean up etc and run it around for a bit. The poor 16v is sat on the drive unloved atm :( Will be putting that in the garage this week to let it dry out and fix some things I have neglected!

Will most likely sell this in a coupe of months to fund the Corrado and get the 6n back on the road :)

But for now it's my daily. Will get some decent pictures during the week

Thanks dude, yeah couldn't say no for £200

I'm not modding them mate so don't actually know how it's done 100% yet, I think I know what he's going to do mind.

Pretty sure he's done a few sets for people before so will ask him next time I see him, he's quite busy though!

MOT booked in for this friday, just need to sort the blowing exhaust from the join and it should (fingers crossed) go through fine!

Ah thanks brother!

I'd be really interested as I'm not looking to fork out £500 for a set of coilovers that are worth more than the car hahah!

Tom.
