Well my alloys didn't fit the spokes are just catching my caliper, the web site said they would fit so I'm sending them back, I don't want to use spacers if i can help it. Bummer!

Yeah mines white too, i'm glad i did the bonnet it's looks better than i originally thought it would, I'm going to post some pic's up as soon i get the chance.

Oh dear, what alloys did you get? Surely you could put some 3-5mm spacers on to clear the callipers, wont make too much difference to much else.

New Shoes / Cumbria Vag 2014

It's been a while since I've posted anything, so got a few updates and pics!

I eventually got me a roughed up (cheap) set of genuine BBS RC041 (17x7.5 all round, et41) from a relative of a mate I work with, so didn't have to look too far :) There was no kerbing around the lips/faces etc. just the paint and barrels in were in bad condition and in desperate need of a refurb. I even had a go at the lips myself but simply didn't have the time to carry out the work myself

Instead of running adapters which would have required reverse mounting the faces for extra offset, I decided to get them redrilled (multi-fitment) so they ran 5x100 and the standard 5x120, and would fit straight to my hub.

Had a quick test fit front and back to check for clearance (turned out I needed 3mm spacers for front brake clearance)

Finally I sent the wheels up to Mike in Glasgow for a full refurb (white faces and centre rings, polished lips, new chrome bolts, chrome centre nuts and black baskets), this guy did a great job for the price, and I'd definitely recommend him! While they were getting sorted I bought myself some new genuine BBS centre caps, spigot rings, 3mm spacers and some new rubber (Toyo T1-R, 205/40), and finished them off with BBS lip stickers and lego dusty's..

I managed to get the wheels on just in time for Cumbria Vag show n shine, which was a great day!! Enjoy :)

Yeah that was me i was parked next to me mate's red transporter, was a canny day, I seen your motor looks really smart done a good job with them wheels like.

Aye the bonnet's not every one's taste but i like it. nah no joy with the alloys i just got my money refunded they were starting to take the piss been month's with no joy!!!

Cheers pal :) Yup bags are a lottamoney! I've got a few things planned to be done before Fitted UK in a couple weeks, bumper smoothing, silencer delete and maybe a stage 1 map... And nah they're hopeless man, never wanna go back after that shite!

That's all up to now, I also recently sold the BBS RC041 and bought myself a set of Mercedes ML320 (2005 model) wheels which I've just had re-painted candy white ready for the 2015 season - (Anyone up in the North East should check out AMD Specialist Coatings for any paint or wheel refurbishment they want done, and ask for Steve - Brilliant job, fantastic price, great service and a 2 day turn around to blast, prime, wet paint and lacquer 4 wheels!!)
