xenon aim too low,

Featured Replies

My 6n2 xenon's are aimed too low, even with the aim turned up from in the car,

Is there a way to put the beam pattern up a bit higher as all the light is aimed like 3 metres in front of the car.

Thanks

there are adjusters on the lights, but first make sure they arent broken as it is VERY common for he retaining clips inside to split and leave the reflector bowl loose inside the light. to check just pull back the rubber boot on the back of the lights and gently try to move it up and down, if it flaps about easily then its time for some surgery if not then you need an Allen key to turn the adjusters (which can also wear out) if you look down at the top of the lights you should see two circular holes you want the one on the indicator side.

i may be wrong about this, i will go out and check in a while.

then park it a few meters from a wall and adjust them up and get them at the same level. make sure the level switch inside is at 0, this way they can be adjusted down later.
