I have 1.2, 70PS match polo and recently started to observe clicking type of noise from drives side. Feels like coming underneath the steering colunm. It happens only at slow speeds, slowing down or accelerating from stand still and is quite prominent. Car's 6yrs old and 33k miles on it. What it could be, any bearing rupture or similar?

Sounds like CV. Can you feel it through the steering wheel?

Try going into an empty car park etc and doing a figure of 8, full lock one way then the other, see if you hear it then.

I'm assuming you have checked for something in the tyre?
