Hi am selling my mk2 polo saloon 1990 as i have bought a 4x4 and don't have the space or time to tidy it up, selling it as a tidy project as the engine starts but will not idle after changing the carb due to a problem with the old carb, also has a brand new k&n air filter. car has mot until 28th may but has no tax (could be taxed at extra cost) was used as a daily runner before christmas and has been sat since.

bad points:

• requires battery tray and drivers front jacking point welding
• has a few slow punctures i believe
• will not tick over
• back window seal messy as it had a louver fitted previous
• paint not good peeling lacquer

good points

• new fuel pump
• just had full oil change, spark plugs, rotor arm, distributor cap, oil filter
• relatively tidy interior although there is a leak from the battery tray and rip on drivers seat
• 4 good tyres and spare
• lowered 60mm
• vw tarantula alloys
• minimal rust non on arches
• comes with original carb and a single headlight grill

this car is being sold spares or repairs as it does require work before being usable again. originally i bought the car with the intention of doing a gt conversion and full respray but also have a vw beetle to finish restoring, wanting 550 for it located in sheffield any questions just ask 07534913774
