Hi everyone, I'm new to the game. On the 7th February I bought my first car for £450 and it's a Green 1.0L 6n2. I picked up the car standard and it's still standard as I've not got funds for modifying yet. I have quite a few plans for the car and it will take a while and a lot of money, but I hope to take the car to Worthersee next year or the year after!

As far as modding goes the only current 'modification' is my brand new Kenwood double din stereo and it suits the car well! I haven't got a picture of it in the car yet but one will follow soon.

So the car is rocking 73000 miles and is giving me a few problems already! So far I've got a hole in the bumper (new bumper being picked up soon), a swollen brake disc and a snapped power steering pipe (also on it's way).

I'll put some pictures of the car in this post after I've finished introducing myself and my plans.

Wanted some MAM MT1 wheels but they only come in 17" plus so looking into OZ Turbo's (chrome) - 15"

Wrapped black wing mirrors

Seats retrimmed in cream leather (front/back) with a quilted green centre

Cream leather doorcards, a,b,c,pillars, possibly dash too and headlining

Mk6 Golf GTI steering wheel

That's all I can think of just now but if/when I get into the more serious things I'll be looking at larger engine modifications like a VR6 or 1.8T

Just thought I would ask; is it worth doing all that to a 1.0 Litre engine?

I would have thought it would be easier to start with a bigger engine rather than doing an engine swap later down the line?

Where are you ordering your power steering pipe as I need one too! Anyone know?
