AJ's Polo TDI

Featured Replies

Hey,

I am well and truely back on the dub scene!!

I started off with a very old Fiat Cinquecento 0.9l for my first car, to go onto a seat arosa 1.4S, orange lupo gti, polo 1.4, black lupo gti to currently a clio 1.5dci.

But in the next week or so I should have a Pearl Black 1.2TDI Match. Now speed hasn't been too concerning for me, styling is more my thing. It's cheap to run, insure, tax etc, so it works for me.

As Orange is my favourite colour. I will be going for the orange and black theme - not quite sure what shade of orange yet.

So as soon as I get it...some pics will be coming up!

Watch this space...

Take a look at some of my threads, iv painted the odd things orange! Its one of my favourite colours too! Just wish my car wasnt silver... Blah!

Orange dust cap dice are nice and cheap. And the wheel bolt covers were cheap to do.

I like the inside of the badge being orange, I kind of want to replace all things silver with orange, orange head lining interior lights and then that'll probably be it as I dont want to make it look too OTT.

Got some black light mesh to put over the headlights and some orange vinyl to wrap some bits, its just having the time...

Tried getting the interior lights off the other day but they're pretty stiff and didn't want to break anything on the first day of getting it haha.

It's a shame the interior grab handles are now in with clips and not screws as I had some pug quiksilver grab handles from the lupo gti, but can't fit them in now :/

Also got a black leather gear gaiter with orange stitching which looks good and was cheap. Got it off of ebay. Just an idea for you.

Thanks. I have had all sorts of different colour gaiters. Thats one of the cheaper things I can go for. When I had the lupo gti, I restitched all the seat stitching with orange thread, as I didn't have a sewing machine - it took forever

Wow, I'm not that brave. I can get a pic of mine if it helps? Also iv got some black mats with orange striping. All ideas!

Looks good. I gave Alfy a big clean today, took the dealers stickers and number plate surrounds off. Going to change the roof interior lights to orange when they arrive :)
