I bought this car last year however as my circumstances have changed I need a bigger car.
Excellent condition both inside and out, this rare model of the 6n2 GTi really does stand out.
Benefiting from HID lights as standard and all the extra’s including;

  • Heated Leather Seats (this was a rare optional extra)

  • Black with red piping seat belts (as opposed to the more common all red)

  • Fully Working Aircon with Climate Control

  • Electric Windows

  • Power Steering

  • Electric & Heated Mirrors

Drives absolutely superb, the car is lowered on adjustable FK Coilovers which although makes the car look better (imo) also improves the handling over the original set up.
Has the red trim around the front grill (they never actually came like this), has been de-badged and has both VW badges painted black. Also been de-wipered on the back.
Looks very smart.
The gearbox is smooth and direct with no wines/noises and really does feel positive, the clutch also feels great with absolutely no sign of any issues with the pedal box which is a common fault on many of these cars.
Since owning the car I have;

  • Replaced both rear wheel bearings

  • Replaced the Coilpack with a Lemark OEM replacement

  • Replaced the plugs

  • Fitted some very rare Red & Black VAG HT Leads

  • New correct VAG spec oil and filter

  • LED Side Lights (a bigger job than it sounds on the 6n2 GTi)

All of which where done less than 100 miles ago with receipts.
Bad Bits:
Needs a new central locking pump, although it does work it will need replacing as it sounds as though the motor has seen better days. (about £30)
Age related marks in places, but again overall the car does look very tidy indeed. This is a black 13 year old car so is to be expected.
Overall a tidy example of the rare GTI; has good condition wheels with 4 very good tyres and the original space saver and tool kit in the boot.
Full 12 month MOT, but will need taxing as this expired in Feb ’14. (You can do this online with the log book number providing the car is insured.)
No time for time wasters, I will answer any questions usually within a few hours and you are welcome to arrange a viewing.
Thanks for looking :)

hey mate what kind of service history has this got quite interested?

Hi mate, this is actually my car (Sid has just posted it for me on here, along with a couple other places like Sheffield Forum)

Basically the service history is very little, you can reference most previous MOT's on the VOSA Website but the previous owner lost the majority of it. Does come with original wallet, latest MOT, log book and receipts for all the work I have carried out.

Cheers :)
