Right, now I've got that bit out of the way! Hi all, my name's Chris, I've currently got a lovely white Match 70bhp which I've had for around 14 months but will shortly be getting rid of - replacing it with a silver R-Line, not a massive upgrade but money's tight, yet I fancied a new car!
Interest-wise, I spend a lot of time out and about with my camera, usually photographing aircraft, but recently motorsport and classic trucks have peaked my interest.
I've got a few questions about lowering/remapping - I'll create a thread in the technical area, assuming that's the right place?!
A photo of my current Polo, for those interested:

Hi Chris! Welcome.

Lovely white 6r you have there. I'm looking to upgrade this year to either the 1.2 rline or a gti.

How are they to live with?

I currently have a 6n2 (mk5) so I can't help with lowering etc on your model but there are plenty of 6r owners on here who may be able to help :)

Thanks Ash, I quite like the 6R, steering is quite light and the car rolls a bit if you chuck it in to a corner due to the suspension being so high.

The normal 1.2 has an awful rattle in the engine when it's idling, but the TSI and bigger engines don't.

Anything else you'd like to know? Done 21k in that one in 14 months, so got to know it pretty well!
