Hi there I have a vw polo 1.4s 16v 6n 5 door 2000.

I was wanting to take off the aerial but to do that obviously I need to remove the headlining slightly. I have absolutely not idea how to do this haha and I was wondering If there was a guide or if anyone knew how to do it?

If you're just wanting to remove the aerial then all you need to do is take the trim off the back of the headliner, this will give you room to get at the bolt and remove it.

From what I remember the back bit of trim is just clipped on and can be pulled off.

If you want to remove the lot then you'll need to remove:

Sun visors and clips.

Interior light

All of the pillar covers (fronts are clipped on and pop off, you'll need to take the seat belts bolts out to remove the middle and back two then they'll just clip off)

The grab handles on the roof

It'll then slide back and out of the boot.

Where abouts is the clip to the rear trim?? I haven't been able to find it.
