Hi, I have a quick question;

My late mk2 coupe has standard VW1 calipers and they only just clear my 13x6 revolution, with 5mm spacers. The wheels can't stick out the car any more than they currently do, as they're only just covered by the arches.

Will installing VW2 calipers on my current carriers require even more wheel-spacing?

Using the vw1 carriers means you can run 13s. Its just for clearance

My vw1's literally have feeler-gauge clearance with my wheels, which is where my concerns come from.

Vw 2's will stick out further the vw 1's even on the vw 1 carrier so you might find you have to use a bigger spacer.
