I haven't posted on here in a long time. I have a 1984 Polo Coupe with Zender Body Kit that was added by GTI Engineering. I always wanted to get round to tidying it up but never had the money/time/technical know how to do it.

I currently live in Birmingham City Centre and have nowhere to keep it (it is currently on my brothers front garden in Bromsgrove). I really don't want to sell it, but I have nowhere to keep it and it's got to be moved, so I think it has to go...

However, I don't really just want to put it on Ebay and have someone snap it up for next to nothing when it's actually pretty special (well I think so!). So my question is... What do you think it would be worth?

It has 96k on the clock, the brakes and pads on the front need replacing (but I have replacements) The front windscreen is cracked (but I have a replacement) the engine will need a bit of TLC but as far as I know - it wouldn't take much to get running... And as for the body/rot - I will get my brother to have a check over but I don't think it is in too bad condition.

It genuinely will break my heart to let it go but I don't see me getting round to it anytime soon - and as for selling it cheap to get rid of it - it's too good for that and would rather it went to a good home.

I would love to know what people think it might be worth (I know that is difficult without seeing it) but just interested??... Thanks...

It's a spares and repair car worth no more than a few hundred quid given that it needs work and may hide big rot under kit. Is it a 1300 or 1l. Whoever buys it will have to put brakes on , get running and trailer away.

Does it have history.

None runner, no T+T, and silver paint which is a fucker for being thin and causing rust. Few hundred TBF. Yeah, the Zender kit's a nice feature, but someone's more likely to want the kit for their own car. Personally, I couldn't have a Zender kit without the silly spoiler, but that's just me.

You need to get it running, really. Then maybe 4-600. At least you know at that price it will stay on the road.

Consider selling the car and bodykit desperately.

Not only will the kit sell, but some will prefer the car without the kit on it! (But the arches are part of the car, not the kit).
