Well this isn't the first polo I've owned - I used to have this ->

The Breadvan was SO much fun,.. great GREAT car…. but then i got tired of having to do mainly motorway miles, and needed 5 gears, so bought this with a 1.9tdi inside!

The B3 Passat gave me 720 turbo'd miles for £85 worth of juice - It was a complete blast to own and i loved it, but then it developed engine troubles… and in the end I needed a car to get to work, so came back to the polo! But I chanced upon one that you rarely see on the roads… introducing…. my 2002 tdi estate

Paint is deceptive,.. look stood, but needs a full claying, cut back, polish and wax. body has the usual supermarket dings but nothing too bad really.

Interior is very clean,.. but needs a new door handle, new speakers, and a new stereo fitting,.. plus i will give it a darn good clean over and wet vac to get it really nice.

and of course… that ass! the stickers will be removed asap!

so far,.. it seems to enjoy cruising at 70mpg at about 2200rpm which is great, but i was expecting better economy… though haven't brimmed it yet and set the trip - so time will tell.

Obviously it needs to go a little lower and i'd like to fit slightly larger wheels to fill those massive arches… but first i need to get it ridiculously clean lol.

I want to stick project thread up <as this is definatley a project car.> but I'm not sure which section to put it in… since it's 2001 6kv i would think it would go in the mk5 6n2 section as that matches the date most… am i right?

are we 6kv's that rare? lol

always love a modified estate so cant wait to see how this comes along! I have no idea where to put a build thread....front end looks like a 6n but inside looks like a 6n2!

Yeah, I got this one as I thought the dash of the 6n isn't as nice as the 6n2.

Well.. If I go on year then it belongs in the 6n2 area… i'll give it a go and see what happens!

Hoping to make it something a little different - as it stands now It looks as if the Official VW flat cap and pipe are in the post.. lol.
