Bike carbs for sale!

Featured Replies

For sale is my Bike Carb setup!

They are gsxr 600 carbs, come with individual cone filters, selling as I'm going to be selling my polo this summer and have decided to take these off and sell them,

They are still on the car as I have not had a chance to remove them but I will be doing that this weekend, the sound from them is amazing and completely changes the feel of your car, if set up correctly for your car you can easily see gains of around 20bhp or more..

Comes with the carbs, custom made individual inlet manifolds designed and made by myself with servo take off (for all 6n 8v engines), comes with a base plate for the older style 8v engines, this can be used as a template or if skimmed used as the inlet manifold also comes with a high quality t-piece, I'm supplying a choke cable aswel so this is pretty much a plug and play setup, I'm running these on standard ignition and they run pretty well, get mpg in the 30s and I can tell you how to install them, you are also able to use your original throttle cable with these so it saves the hastle of putting a new one in..

I'm looking for around £180 ish ono for the set up as I've put a lot of work into these and they run spot on, manifolds alone cost that price and I put a lot of hours into my custom ones.

I can send pictures to anyone interested and I can also show a clip of them on my car running and the sound, thanks for looking.

i can hear an air leak in that video. lol

The air leak is because I started removing the jubilee clips on the silicon hosing then realised that I should have a quick video showing they actually run, forgot to fully tighten the second to the left :')

Bump

So if the clip was fastened would they snap from idle to full revs or do they bog?

  • Author

When the car has warmed up after a few mins then there is no bog,

When the engine is cold like when starting on a cold morning then there will be a slight bog but that's normal with carbs in general

They still for sale and would they fit on a 6n2 8v without much work ?

Yeh bud still for sale, if your engine code is APQ which I'm 90% certain it is then yes it will as its the same engine in my late year 6n :)

Alright, might have em off you, il check my code tomorrow morning

Would these fit on a 1.4 16v 6n2 AHW?

there either running really lean, or your timing is way off lol

Timing is off bud, was running on standard 6n dizzy/Ecu so I set the timing up so it worked better at higher rpm

Sorry Toby I don't know the inlet design of that engine so I couldn't say
