What PSI fuel pump?

Featured Replies

I am doing a 1.4 16v AFH conversion in my mk2 breadvan and running it on bike carbs.

Need to order the facet solid state fuel pump but looking at them there is a lot of different PSI ones?

Any idea which one i need?!

Thanks

Fuel pressure is dependent upon the requirement of particular carburettors, often between 2 and 4 Pounds per Square Inch (PSI) Too high and you will end to get 'flooding'. Too low and you may not have sufficient fuel at wide throttle openings.

Suggest that you Google the make/model of your particular carbs and have a look at their requirements.

regards.
