Ok, so everywhere that i've read online claims that pressed plates on cars registered after ~1973 are illegal and punishment can result in points/fines.

However I've come across this on ebay and wondered if anybody knows different?

looking to get a set myself seen em around quiet a lot lately. however I'm only looking to get my front plates german style

i read somewhere that the plates are supposed to be made of some sort of a reflective material and that police ANPR systems can't read pressed plates.

However more and more people are using them and seeing as this ebay seller is stating their road legal perhaps there's no harm in trying them.

i heard that you could have them as long as they were reflective???? thinking of getting some myself

They need to be reflective and have a BSU marking. This question has been asked a million times before!
