So I did the airbox mod and here's a pic of how it looked and also the video of how it sounds is on YouTube under the title (vw polo 6n2 1.4 16v air box drilled modification) or something like that haha;) sorry for the reversing at the beginning and only having the space to reach 2nd gear;)

If you guys want advice on how to do this mod then just ask, it took me 2 minutes haha!

Induction kit is coming tomorrow so will update tomorrow:)

The ram air arrived today and I couldn't be happier with it:) sounds mint and the throttle feels crispier than ever. I put one air feed connected to the standard one and also one to the front grill as it wasn't long enough to get to the bottom of the bumper, but I'm happy:)

Next to happen is to make an in closure for the filter to keep as much of the hot air away from it!

And then straight pipe to be done.

Don't know which I will do first but for now here are some pics of the kit:) took 10mins to install.

How's bonnet clearance? Looks snug.. I'm gonna be honest it doesn't look the prettiest of things hopefully the enclosure will sort that out.

Clearance is tight hahaha;) yeah not pretty mate but I'm more about sound than looks to be honest haha. In closure will be made soon, looking at material etc at the moment. I'm not put off by looks, it sounds good;)

Decided to not bother with the in closure as I just can't be bothered hahaha but I'm selling an aftermarket backbox exhaust and then saving for some coilies, slamming this bitch;)

Went to the tyre shop today and £200 for 4 tires with stretch on my Bbs alloys so some saving and then getting them.

my mate fitted that induction to his gti, sounds quite good after a few weeks once it's 'settled in' if you know what i mean.

Just ordered some rear coilovers from a mate, managed to get them for 45 inc postage so now I need some front coils. If anyone knows anyone selling any for a decent price that would be great, let me know guys :)

And I've finally got my Bbs ra 15" on!!!! Only 6.5J but I've got some stretch:) gonna be lowering this soon but still in need of front coilovers. Got a new headlight ready to be put in as my passenger side is cloudy and I've also done a small amount of carbon fibre wrapping on some interior!

Ordered a boss kit for a new sparco dished steering wheel that is in the post! Also a new carbon fibre gear knob.

Main priority is slamming this bitch down haha.

Your wrapping looks good. I done a bit the other day, and a few bits looked good but tried the door handles and the look so bad

they creased up so easily.. Very tacky looking. Are 6n2 handles much different shape?

Yeah man thanks, I tried doing the dash but I fucked it up hahaha found it quite tricky! Haven't got great quality stuff so it's not easy.

Urm I'm not sure man I doubt they're very different?

So I've got some AP coilovers in the post. Grabbed a bargain , brand new whole set that some bloke bought for a project but never got round to doing it...£100 so no complaints.

Since then I have had a hub boss kit and a sparco steering wheel in the post and I've fitted.

I've had some issues with the horn.

When removing the steering wheel etc everything was fine apart from the airbag wire coil thing that I ripped out as I got bored haha.

Now I have the wheel on and horn button wired on but no sound????

Can anyone help??? I'm just using the wire that come from inside the boss kit and sticking it on the horn button but nothing!!!!!

And they're here, going to fit at the same time as the clutch replacement to kill two birds with one stone...gonna go with 60mm all round probably

AP coilovers weren't for a 6n2 and the silly idiot selling them was clueless so they were sold on and have ordered some budget coilies and am awaiting them to be delivered.

Got myself a gti grill and a little Vw Perfromance sticker for the front windscreen.

Re done my headliner with a tartan stitch and my parcel shelf. Also did all pillars in a leather..

Wasn't hard took me an afternoon of easy work and looks good.

Got some gti clocks in.

Getting an amp and sub fitted tomorrow and that's all:)))

Got Mot in a month and currently the horn is still not working and some lights are showing on the dash so there's some work to be sorted.

Some idiot also went into the back of me so rear bumper is scratched!

got some REAL BIG plans for this in the next couple of months including the silver going and a matte colour coming!

Since the person crashed into me the boot doesn't so can't show pics of them!

Won't let me upload pics on this ATM so will in the next few days....

If anyone has any ideas etc then please share....also if anyone knows anyone selling a gti splitter or a pair of fogs then let me know!
