hi to everyone here,

my name is lee and i am 47 years old i live near croydon,surrey. my interests are tinkering with cars,fishing and my family.

just got a mk2fc 1991 1272cc in white,thought i would get a car from my era, not sure why but my wife thinks i am trying to recaptor my youth,[she should be so lucky.

any way back to the car, drove it home and put it in my garage and the work has begun.

so far i have removed ;

engine/gearbox

interior [except dash]

front/rear suspension

fuel tank

so basicly i have a shell and could not belive how clean and rust free it is.

everything will be replaced with new, refurbished, or modified.I dont have a time scale but it might take a while

and might need some likeminded freinds to help and advise me.

i will post some pics as i get on with my project polo [in the corret forum off course]
