Changed my lights to led festoons, they worked great just checked and there not working now, tried another bulb with no luck. Is there a separate fuse for the number plate lights?

Use a voltmeter or multimeter to check that you have something like battery voltage at the bulb holders - connect the earth side of the meter to a good known earth.

If there is a decent voltage there, repeat the test with a test lamp (it can happen that, whilst there is sufficient voltage, some high resistance is preventing sufficient current to the bulbholders.)

If the meter and test light work OK with the good known earth, but do not work with the bulb holders own earth, then it is that earth connection which is faulty.

i used one of those lamps were it lights up if there is power, there is no "power on the connectors when the bulb holder is out? I'm really stuck, dont fancy getting pulled over!

seems funny, how they were ok after i fitted the LEDs now they dont work at all a day later or 2 later?

Adding to this now, as you said fuse number 2. In my manual it shows it to be the 2nd fuse down on the right hand side. But this turns off my time and date etc on the instruments. So it's looking like it could well be a fuse
