Sealant D 188 003 A1

  • ◆ Ensure that no oil residue can drip onto the coated sealing surfaces.
  • ‒ Tighten camshaft housing new securing bolts (evenly from inside to outside using cross-over sequence post-36925-0-26624900-1397147554_thumb.p

Ensure that camshaft housing is not canted.
Tightening torque: 10 Nm + 1/4 turn (90 °) further.

Note:

  • ◆ Sealant must be left dry for approx. 30 minutes after installing camshaft housing
