Hoped this day would never come but unfortunately I'm having to sell my Polo. It's a 1989 mk2 polo coupe S, owned it for around 3 years now and it's never let me down, a great runner and real nippy as well. If I had more time & money I'd love to keep her and finish her off but have neither. It's an ideal project car but can also just be a cheap little run around once cleaned up.

Done 104k miles but still runs as sweet as a nut.

Had it MOT'd the other day and failed on a few things, will need a little welding around the sills & arches (as is the case with most cars this age) could do with some new brake pads and a new fuel pipe but that's it.

GOOD POINTS:

Engine tuned & head ported a couple years ago

Great runner & really nippy

Rear fully adjustable coilovers & front lowering springs (about 60mm I think)

5 speed gearbox

Tyres have plenty of tread

(1 flat though)

cheap insurance

Rear strut brace

Sitting on 15" polished p slots + spare standard steelie

Single wiper conversion

Suspension arms replaced last year

New rear wheel bearings

Single lamp grille

Clean rare polo interior

Wiring complete to fit a stereo, sub & amp

Throwing in the dual lamp grille/glovebox spare back seat as well

Haynes manual included as well

BAD POINTS:

Some body corrosion (arches) will need welding done

Fog light out (needs new bulb)

No rear seatbelts

Will need new paintwork (was prepping it for military paint)

Passenger door dented & door handle trim missing.

Fuel pipe needs replacing

Could do with new brake pads
