  • Nope, well maybe you're right, but 1L heads definitely do work with the GT cam. Engine code is AAU - see the sticky here. If you read it all I think somebody mentions that the heads are all the same.

Aren't the 1.3 and 1.05 heads the same? If so, I have a 1.05 AAU head you can have without a cam. Everything else is there.

My understanding is that they are all the same profile head, just a different cam and some GT heads have double spring valves or something?

Don't take that for definite though, there are people on here who will know for sure.

I have a 1.3 head located in Bedford

I actually have two lol, one from a 1.3 and one from a gt. Think they are all the same tho tbh

I think the 1l heads are slightly different i have a list of different cylinder heads that work with the GT cam

Cheers anyway !

AFAIK, the only difference between the 1.05 and the 1.3 is the piston stroke, the heads are identical.

Then from there the only difference between those and ALL GT models is the cams etc.

Only SOME of the GT heads have different valve types (although I may be wrong on that).

If you want some pictures throwing up I can take some tomorrow. It's sat in the garage and no use to me really :)

Sorry to reply so long after your post I didn't get a notification !

Thanks for the info!

I'm going to have a bit more research on the heads before I go for a 1l one.
